Living the Summer Life
So who knew summer could be so fun for a working girl?

I spent July 4th weekend in Miami and had a relaxing time tanning, wandering around South Beach, and eating Cuban food! That is seriously the city that never sleeps. The bars, restaurant, and stores were open until the wee hours of the night.

I'm starting to love the Jersey Shore. I am only 1 hr away from the beach! Its the next best thing to Puerto Rico beaches. I think I need to plan another visit.

Upcoming Events:
- Six Flags
- South Carolina
- Toronto International Film Festival

I'm trying to look for a new hobby. AHH I just want to tap dance and rock climb!

Living it up in NJ!!
This weekend was all about first times.

So I thought I was officially a NJ resident when I got my NJ license. But apparently, you're not a true Jersey Girl until you go to a Def Leopard and Journey concert in the ghettos of Camden and cheer for the bands with the famous fist pump. I was fortunate enough to be the only asian person in the whole venue. I'm "Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world." haha I had so much fun. Pour some sugar on me!

I had my first overnight stay in NYC this weekend. too. I don't think I've really spent time in NYC at night. For the first time ever, I actually didn't spent in Chinatown and Time Square. I...

- Ate a cupcake at Magnolia's Bakery
- Walked around in the rain to SoHo and the Greenwich village
- Played pool and won a game!
- Ate steak, drank red wine, and almost threw up at Knickerbocker
- Took the PATH and partied it up in Hoboken for the first time

Good times.

Miami in 6 days!!

- Spent time with friends and family at my family bbq
- Partied it up at a couple of bars

I am so tired...

So I've been keeping myself busy lately and spending time with wonderful people...I've been having too much fun in the past few weeks. It makes me wish that I was still in school with a summer break so I can bum around some more. No more short work weeks anymore.

Philly with the Bestest Tour Guide !
So as of now, I like Philly.

I can't believe I actually drove around the city! I ate lots of food and meet lots of Robert's friends on Saturday. I went back to Greek Lady and ate a whole platter!!!!! That place is soo good. He took me to a Kentucky Derby party, and I drank a mint juleps (With 3/4th sugar water and mint and 2 drops of whiskey). Then I went to Monk's Cafe for some peach belgium lambic and a hamburger!

Sunday was the bummest day I have ever had. I missed my town's founder's day. That's right I live in a town that's the size of my high school. sigh.

So about 5 years ago, I was in preparing for prom and freaking out over graduation. It's funny how things change in only 5 years. The time between being 5 years old and 10 years old didn't seem so different. I still played outside, swam in my uncle's pool, and went to the same elementary school. But now it's almost like I'm a totally different person than who I was 5 years ago.

So I've got my own apartment, insurance, car, and job. Now what, what's next? I'm having one of those mid-life crisis moments, and feeling a like a bum....waiting for something to look forward to.

Oh so...I have finally finalized my cell phone choice. Seriously. I have cingular now...again. sigh. I seriously tried 3 different carriers (Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular) and ended up back to Cingular with a Nokia phone. I'm insane. So I've had it for 2 days now, and expect to have a long term relationship with this plan.

New Jersey Girl
So I had the opportunity to use my new NJ driver's license on Friday night. I went to a bar in Princeton to listen to bad music and to watch a weird old guy try to break dance to 80's music. Yeah...Princeton is not a hot spot for bars.

I finally got a new cell phone plan...I returned my Verizon service and now I have Sprint. So let me know if you need my new cell phone number. I swear it'll be the last time that I switch phone numbers...I hope.

I've been eating a lot of candy...

Your Love Life Secrets Are

Looking back on your life, you will only have one true love.

You're a little scarred from your past relationships, but who isn't?

You expect a lot from your lover - you want the full package. You tend to be very picky.

In fights, you love to debate and defend yourself. You logic prevails - or at least you'd like to think so.

Break-ups can be painful for you, but you never show it. You hold your head high.

Officially a NJ Resident
So today I got my NJ license...it only took 2 trips to the Motor Vehicle Comission and 34 bucks. They didn't accept my Washington DC birth certificate. eh. Anyways, now I can say that I live in the Arm bit of America, the state that is known to be polluted and congested and the home to the city with the highest crime rate. Overall, NJ isn't so bad and my new driver's license picture is way better than my MD license. I don't know if I can see myself living here for the rest of my life, but for now, I am pretty content.

My family came up to see my last weekend. I showed my cousin and sister Philly and Princeton. I realized that Philly is almost identical to Bmore. Yeah, not the greatest city around, but it sure has some good cheese steaks and gyros! This coming weekend, is the first weekend, where I have not made any plans in advance. I wonder what I'll be doing...

I Got a New Car!!
So I finally purchased a car this weekend. I have been doing an insane amount of research...probably more than I needed, and I finally bought a Camry! haha...the same car that I've been driving since I could drive. Thanks to the newly designed 2007 Camry, I got a great deal for a 2006 Camry LE. Gosh, now I can stop thinking about cars. My next step is to get auto insurance. I'm going to call Geico. haha. Being a grown up sucks.

This week is my 2 year anniversary with my baby. How crazy is that? We're going to Filomena's again. It's a tradition, and it is absolutely the best Italian restaurant ever, and it's too expensive to go there more than once a year.
